Software für die qualitative Datenanalyse.
Einzellizenz: Die Installation des Programms ist beschränkt auf einen EINZELNEN PC, der sich im Besitz oder unter der ausschließlichen Kontrolle des Lizenzinhabers befindet, sowie auf einen weiteren Computer, ebenfalls im Besitz des Lizenzhalters (z.B. Desktop im Büro, Laptop für unterwegs). Trotzdem darf sich zu jeder Zeit nur EINE der beiden Kopien von ATLAS.ti in Betrieb befinden.

Bei Kauf/Einmalzahlung erwerben Sie das Recht auf zeitlich unbegrenzte Nutzung der Software. Voller Support und Updates (Service Packs) sind im Preis inbegriffen. Upgrades auf neuere Programmversionen müssen dabei separat erworben werden.

Die Version steht direkt als Download zur Verfügung. Ein Benutzerhandbuch und ein "Quicktour"- Dokument (beide in digitaler Form) sind beim Download dabei.

Software for qualitative data analysis management and modelbuilding.
Single User License: Installation of the program purchased under a single user license is restricted to one single personal computer owned by or under control of the licensee plus one additional computer also owned by the licensee. However, at any given time only one copy of ATLAS.ti may be in use.


Purchasing a license involves a single one-time payment which grants unlimited use of the software. Support and updates (service packs) are included in the purchase price. Upgrades to newer program versions (if and when they become available) must be purchased separately. Educational licenses are 100% identical to full licenses in functionality.

ATLAS.ti ist die "Wissenswerkbank" für die qualitative Analyse größerer Mengen an Text-, Grafik-, Audio und Videodaten. Es bietet eine Anzahl hoch spezialisierter Werkzeuge für die Bewältigung aller Aufgaben, die beim systematischen Herangehen an "weiche" Daten (also Materialien, die sich der formalen statistischen Analyse entziehen) anfallen.

* Note: ATLAS.ti works well under Windows Vista! We only find it necessary to caution Vista users that MS Vista itself is still somewhat in flux as Microsoft continues to introduce modifications.

 
Lizenzmodell

Die Standardlizenz ist für den kommerziellen Einsatz des Programms notwendig. Darin eingeschlossen sind ausdrücklich kommerziell durchgeführte Schulungen.
Staatliche und supra-nationale Organisationen (z.B. EU, UN, etc.) können ebenfalls auschließlich Standardlizenzen erwerben. Die Standardlizenz muss von Organisationen erworben werden die NICHT offiziell akkreditierte Bildungseinrichtungen sind. (Anerkannten nicht-kommerziellen Ausbildungseinrichtungen und deren Personal stehen die Ausbildungslizenzen zur Verfügung.
Der Einsatz des Programms unter einer Ausbildungslizenz ist ausdrücklich auf wissenschaftliche Lehre und Forschung beschränkt.) Der administrative Einsatz an einer nichtkommerziellen Bildungseinrichtung gilt als kommerzielle Anwendung und ist daher unter einer Ausbildungslizenz nicht statthaft, auch hier muss eine Standardlizenz erworben werden).

Administrative use of the program is considered a commercial application and thus not allowed under the Educational License policy.
